TERMS OF SERVICE

Atlanta Mahjong Studio provides in-person mahjong lessons, table reservations, memberships, and merchandise through our website. By using our services, you agree to the following terms.

1. RESERVATIONS & PAYMENT

  • All table reservations are for full tables (4 seats) and require payment at the time of booking.
  • Prices are listed per time block, typically in 2-hour increments.
  • Lessons are priced per person, and class duration will be noted on each product page.

2. CANCELLATIONS & RESCHEDULING

For lessons and reservations:

  • You may reschedule up to 12 hours before your booking.
  • You may cancel for a refund with at least 24 hours’ notice.
  • If you cancel with less than 24 hours’ notice or don’t show up, your reservation fee is non-refundable.

3. MEMBERSHIPS

  • Memberships are billed on a recurring monthly basis using the payment method provided at checkout.
  • Memberships renew automatically each month until cancelled by the member.
  • Members may cancel at any time; cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing cycle. No partial refunds are issued for unused time.
  • Membership benefits, including open play times, guest access, and priority registration, are described on the membership product page. These benefits may change from time to time at the studio’s discretion.
  • Memberships are for individual use only and may not be transferred or shared.
  • Failure to comply with studio rules or repeated no-shows may result in suspension or termination of membership without refund.

4. STUDIO CONDUCT & FACILITY USE

  • No gambling of any kind.
  • No smoking, vaping, or alcohol on the premises.
  • Respect fellow players and staff — disruptive or disrespectful behavior may result in removal without refund.
  • Entry before your scheduled time or overstaying may incur additional fees or denial of future reservations.
  • Our lessons and studio environment are not designed for young children. If you wish to book a lesson for a child under 18, you must contact us first for approval. If approved, all participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult unless prior arrangements have been made.

5. MEDIA & PHOTOGRAPHY

  • Photos may be taken by Atlanta Mahjong Studio during lessons or games and used for promotional purposes (social media, website, etc.). If you prefer not to be photographed, please let a staff member know.
  • Recording or photographing lessons, instructional sessions, or any teaching materials without prior written consent is strictly prohibited. This includes video recordings, livestreams, screenshots, or photos of teaching aids, notes, or other instructional content.
  • Violation of this policy may result in removal from the class or studio without refund and potential suspension of future booking privileges.

6. PERSONAL PROPERTY

We are not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items brought into the studio.

7. MERCHANDISE, SHIPPING & RETURNS

Shipping:

  • Merchandise is fulfilled by a third-party print-on-demand partner.
  • Orders typically ship within 2–7 business days and arrive within 3–7 business days after that.
  • You’ll receive a tracking number once your order ships.

Returns:

  • We accept returns or exchanges for misprinted, damaged, or defective items.
  • To request a return, email us within 14 days of receiving your item.
  • Because merchandise is made to order, we cannot accept returns for reasons such as wrong size or change of mind.

8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page and take effect immediately.
